Text to Image Studio

Transform text or graphics into high-resolution PNG logos.

Design text logos or image composites in a live canvas studio, then export high-quality PNG files. Choose from 18 bundled fonts, control alignment, padding, borders, and transparency.

Click an uploaded image to reveal drag handles and corner resize controls.

Getting started

  1. Install Text to Image Studio and open the wide toolbar popup.
  2. Pick Designer (text-only) or Image Mode (upload + optional overlay).
  3. Adjust fonts, colors, and canvas size; preview updates live.
  4. Click Download PNG to save TIS-{timestamp}.png (or the original upload basename).

Designer mode

Render a text logo on a solid background. Default canvas is 319×200 px with optional aspect lock.

  • 18 fonts including Inter (default), Archivo Black, Poppins, Wendy One, and more.
  • Font size (minimum 8), color, horizontal align (left/center/right), vertical align (top/middle/bottom).
  • Background color picker for the canvas.
  • Default placeholder text: MyStudio.

Image mode

Upload an image (file or paste), then optionally layer text on top.

  • Enable Text Overlay shares font controls with Designer mode.
  • Overflow Image (Fill Mode): cover vs contain scaling.
  • Drag to reposition; corner handles resize the image on the canvas.
  • Inner padding slider 0–150 (default 10).
  • Background color, opacity 0–100, and Transparent checkbox.
  • Outer/Inner borders with weight 1–20 and separate border color.

Export and persistence

Most settings persist in chrome.storage.local (mode, text, fonts, colors, padding, borders, transforms). Uploaded images cache as lastUploadedImage for 24 hours (uploadTime check), then expire.

Need help?

Large uploads increase storage use; cached images clear after 24 hours. The popup is about 800 px wide to fit the studio layout.
