Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 30, 2026
At Quintaphon (“We”, “Us”, “Our”), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. We operate under a simple principle: we collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our services, and we never sell or share your personal data with third parties.
1. Chrome Extensions Policy
Our Chrome Extensions are designed with privacy at their core.
- No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or browsing data from users of our Chrome Extensions.
- Local Processing: All extension logic and data processing occur locally within your browser. No data is sent to our servers or any third-party servers.
- No Data Monetisation: We do not sell, trade, or rent any customer data to any company or advertising network.
2. WordPress Development & Services
For clients engaging us for WordPress Theme Development or custom services:
- Consent-Based Collection: We only collect personal information (such as name, email, or project details) when you voluntarily provide it to us via contact forms or service agreements.
- Purpose of Use: This information is used strictly to communicate with you regarding your project, provide technical support, and send invoices or updates.
- No AI/ML Training: We do not use your data, code, or project files to train generalised Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) models.
3. Authentication and Security
If you use any of our services that require Google Sign-In or OAuth 2.0:
- Identity Verification: Google sign-in authenticates your identity and shares limited information (such as your email address) to generate licenses or manage your account.
- Confidentiality: This information is kept strictly confidential.
- Secure Access: By using OAuth 2.0, you never have to share your login credentials with us. Data required for service functionality resides strictly within your own account environment.
4. Technical Logs and Cookies
Like most websites, quintaphon.com automatically collects certain non-personal statistical information.
- Log Files: This may include IP addresses, browser types, and time stamps. We use this data solely to analyse website traffic, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical issues.
- Cookies: We may use cookies to improve your experience on our site. You can turn off cookies in your browser settings, though some website features may stop working correctly.
5. Third-Party Payments
We use secure third-party payment processors (such as Stripe, PayPal, or WooCommerce) to handle billing. Quintaphon does not store or have access to your credit card numbers or full financial details. The privacy policies of these respective processors protect your transaction data.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
If you wish to update your information or no longer wish to receive our services, you may contact us directly. For Chrome Extensions, simply removing the extension from your browser deletes all locally stored configuration data immediately. We will respond to all data-related requests within 5 business days.
7. Legal Disclosure
We reserve the right to disclose personal information only when required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
8. External Links and Social Media
Our website may contain links to other sites or social media features (like Facebook or Twitter buttons). Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies providing them.
